Since you said the green light flickers and nothing else it sounds like a battery issue to me. Like the battery is completely dead. Its not uncommon for micros and gba sps since their batteries are almost 20 years old at this point. I suggest getting a new battery or perhaps a cell battery replacement.
The Game Boy released on April 21, 1989 in Japan, followed by North America on July 31, 1989, and lastly in Europe on September 28, 1990. It is characterized by a large grey casing and model number DMG-01. 68 Questions View all. Sid @sid36469.
Try this. Open up the GBA. Put the motherboard with the back of the casing. Insert batteries. Make sure the screen is connected to the ribbon cable but is not touching anything just have the screen flat on your work space. You could also try turning it on with no screen connected. Basically, if you see the battery light on in your car
I looked it up, saw others having similar issues and tried the following: Replace charger/try a different one. I got a lightly modded GBA SP and got a charger for it today. I charged it up and began playing and noticed the green light only lasted about 15 minutes before the red light turned on. I didnât test to see how long it would take to die, but this doesnât feel natural. This does have an IPS screen and I was never notified of the batteryâs
