BMWs are great cars to drive but rather high-strung. In Canada BMW provides a great four year warranty. Personally I would not own a BMW off warranty. If you have to pull out your wallet you may have to dig very deep. The engine on my 550 failed twice. There was some 84 hours of labour on the engine alone.
