Yes, that is what happened to me, sounds like you've got the same problem (although there are other possible causes on this forum). I got the part from the Citroen dealers in Telford (Budgen Motors) - cost £25. They looked it up and found that there are 3 different versions of the switch so they recommended getting the old one off first. Hi I don't know if this helps anyone but you can lock a c2 by putting the drivers window down closing all the doors , then lean into the car through the window lock the car using the centre button then pull the window switch so it closes by its self then take the key out of the ignition before the window closes that way all doors are locked :)
The doors have always been left open because the only lock on the car was damaged. However, now I decided to start fixing the car, and one of the first things I did was put a new battery in the remote control(car key) and started to lock the doors. Everything went well, until the day I had to remove the battery from the car to charge it.

A failed rear door lock relay in the IP fuse block. This relay is soldered onto the circuit board and cannot be serviced. The key fob no longer locks or unlocks the rear door (driver's side) and the power astra 2003 estate, rear door will not open inside or out! We recently put the childlock on the rear door for obvious reasons but now the door will not open from outside or inside, obviously because of childlock. My wife's 2003 Yukon wouldn't lock the rear doors or hatch, but it would unlock. My problem was the lock relay was bad. There are two relays, one for lock and one for unlock. They are located in the fuse panel on the left side of the console. Open the drivers door and you will see a cover that pops off. Behind this are several fuses and relays. HusCEN.
