Rising Star. Dec 19, 2017. Hi, I am trying to set the Epic link of an issue that is created with the clone an issue and link script from ScriptRunner. I have the following script in a post-function in the additional actions field: import com.onresolve.scriptrunner.runner.util.UserMessageUtil. import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor.
Answer accepted. Just on the issue card itself, click the coloured square next to the issue title and choose from the available options: Hope this helps! Or from the Epics panel in the scrum/kanban board of a company managed project, you can still select a color from the little color marker next to each epic:

Nov 10, 2021. If both projects are Team Managed, you would not have found the "Epic Link" field in the list of modifiable fields when you used the Bulk Change > Edit Issue option. I have a project when issues are collected in Epics. I have created a board with Swinlanes automatically managed by Epics. Some of the Epic are the one in the project itself, someothers are coming from other project. The feature in the swinlanes do not list "external epics" neither in the "no Epic" lanes. What can I do? Thanks. dex
Select > Issues, then select Issue types from the left menu. In the Type column in the middle of the page, look for issues that are labeled as Epic. If you don’t find one, you’ll need to configure an epic-type issue. Learn how to edit and create issue types in Jira Software. Alternatively, parent issues could be excluded from your JQL query.
3. Click on the edit button. You will have the Jira server issue -like and so you will have the field "Epic name" field. This is the issue key (based on project key, ofc) 4. Update it, save, close, switch back to the new interface and enjoy! Iswaren
