On the Lincoln MKZ, the fuel pump shut-off switch is located in the front passenger footwell area in the right upper corner. May you need to remove the lower scuff plate to access the switch. Turn the ignition to the ON position (Do not turn the ignition to ‘START) and wait a few seconds and return the key to off position. Warning!
ricks63toy, I believe that Ford still uses what is called an inertia switch even in the hybrids. This switch will shut off in the event of an accident shutting off the fuel pump. This is a safety feature built into the vehicle. Seeing that this is a newer vehicle I trust that you still have the manual. If not, the switches are usually located

The test I use is to check for power at the fuel pump harness connector near the fuel tank. When you turn the key from Off to Run the computer will close the fuel pump relay and supply power to the pump for about two seconds then it will turn the relay back off until All you do is find the switch and hold down the button on it for about 3 seconds. Then try starting the van without slamming the doors shut until it is running. If the Inertia switch does not help check the fuse panel, then the relay. Well Ford thru another curve, and surprized me. i went out pulled panel on right side of dash. there is the little inertia switch.so i wanted to ck. and the center red button was down. cant tell till you smack it pretty good,then just push it down, you will feel it go down. iKBWw.
